The mention of an exhibition reminds you that the whole reason you are outside today is because you wanted to go to Game Masters... Spotting a flyer for the exhibit on the desk, you're pretty pleased that maybe that dream isn't dead yet!

Sure enough, soon you and your new companion are back on the train, heading in to the city. After travelling some number of 1.61 kilometres, you arrive at Flinders Street Station.

Looking around, amongst the flurry of people moving about, your eyes immediately fall on someone who seems rather familiar.

As you proceed from the station entrance, you turn around to look at the time, but something seems amiss.

There are two ways to solve this puzzle-

(1) Each clock time can be converted to a letter, ignoring the small movement of the hour and minute hands past the top of the hour. These translate to:
Altona - l
Sandringham - e
Frankston - r
Broadmeadows - t
Williamstown - a
St Albans - i
Upfield - y

The seven lines are the centre set of clocks at Flinders St station. In order, they are:
Frankston (r) - Sandringham (e) - Williamstown (a) - Altona (l) - St Albans (i) - Broadmeadows (t) - Upfield (y)

(2) The story makes a very clear point to say you travelled some 1.61 kilometres instead of some miles. Furthermore, you later ask Who's that? and are told it is someone to watch. A check of Miles' Who's Who page shows that he is known for Streaming Reality.
